Cryptogames 101: A Game Design Talk for Noobs
Everyone is talking about the blockchain, and they’re calling cryptogames (games that use blockchain technology) as the next killer app. But what IS cryptogaming, exactly? And why is it important? This talk explains the basics of cryptogaming – it includes types of cryptogames, examples from the field, and things to consider before designing your own cryptogame. The speaker is the Creative Director of Altitude Games and one of the judges for the Alto Cryptogame Challenge, CryptoBit Awards, and IMGA SEA Blockchain Competition. This is not a technical nor financial talk, but a game design one; everyone is welcome (gamers, developers, or just the curious) even with no prior blockchain knowledge or experience.
